"We have stayed at the Old Vicarage several times . The owners, Barbara and Grant always make you feel very welcome, it is an absolute privilege to stay at this beautiful B&B . The rooms are spotless , we normally stay in room 1 which has a 4 poster bed and fantastic views of the Wensleydale countryside."

"We stayed just the one night at the Old Vicarage, but could certainly have stayed longer. What a lovely B&B! The bed was heavenly, and the room decor excellent. And the view of Wensleydale from our bedroom window was glorious! The staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt right at home, and the full English breakfast was divine...."

"We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The room we had was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely devine. We can thoroughly recommend this b & b to anyone and everyone."

"We stayed for a two night weekend break and was made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Decor and rooms were immaculate throughout. We was shown to our room, with our bottle of wine waiting which was very welcome to start the weekend off. A very comfy!!! bed and a good nights sleep"

"We stopped here for 2 nights and was extremely happy with our accomodation. The couple who own the old vicarage could not be more hospitable. Our room was very well presented clean and the jacuzzi bath was very welcome after a long day walking. Breakfast was supurb with anything you could wish for and more."

"Have stayed at a number of B&B's but this one is top quality. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotless. Our room had an enormous four poster which was lovely. The hosts were extremely welcoming and the breakfasts are wonderful. When booking we could have been put off by its roadside location but it is nothing to worry about"

"We stayed at The Old Vicarage for 3 nights and had a wonderful time with welcoming hosts. We were in a bedroom with an enormous four poster bed which was very comfortable! The room was spacious with easy chairs in the sitting area. There was also a lounge with a good fire burning which was welcome in winter."
